Cut cable to apropriate length. Score SMA cable with scissors. Then strip only outer jacket.

Next you will see the inner conductor surrounded by insulation.

Use a lighter to melt the insulation.

Let the insulation burn until it melts, then scrape the molten insulation off with scissors and sand the conductor.
WARNING: IF YOU TRY TO STRIP THE INNER INSULATOR WITHOUT MELTING IT, IT WILL CAUSE THE CENTER PIN OF THE CONNECTOR TO GET PULLED IN.
