NooElec RaTLSnake antenna mount
Cut cable to apropriate length. Score SMA cable with scissors. Then strip only outer jacket.
Next you will see the inner conductor surrounded by insulation.
Use a lighter to melt the insulation.
Let the insulation burn until it melts, then scrape the molten insulation off with scissors and sand the conductor.
WARNING: IF YOU TRY TO STRIP THE INNER INSULATOR WITHOUT MELTING IT, IT WILL CAUSE THE CENTER PIN OF THE CONNECTOR TO GET PULLED IN.
Hardware for connecting cable to antenna.
Connecting cable to antenna. Cover with Epoxy after connecting, to lock the threads and to insulate.
Put velcro around the antenna/cable junction.
